CHAR DHAM YATRA Chardham Yatra is a pilgrimage tour that covers the four most sacred places of worship in Hinduism: Kedarnath , Badrinath , Gangotri , and Yamunotri . The best time to visit Chardham is from April to November, as per the dates declared by the Government of Uttarakhand. During the winter months, the idols from the temples are shifted to their winter shrines. The Chardham Yatra starts from Yamunotri and covers Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath in the eastward direction.
